ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Before introducing AI, define the problem.
Questions to separate a real need from a fashionable solution.
Start with a specific task: who performs it, which information it needs and what a correct result looks like. Without that baseline, any tool is difficult to evaluate.
Compare a rules-based solution with an AI-based approach. For deterministic processes, conventional integrations may be easier to verify and maintain.
Define evaluation examples and unacceptable errors. Decide when a person must review the output and which data must never be sent to the provider.
A pilot should end with an informed decision: continue, adjust or stop. Document limitations without turning lab results into commercial promises.
